Danielle Deavens

Danielle Deavens is a storyteller by trade. After graduating from Elon University with a degree in journalism and starting her career at magazines like Essence and Food Network, she pivoted into startups through a post-grad fellowship. She then cofounded Bold Xchange, a 2020 Arch Grants winner. Having pitched for and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars (equity-based and non-dilutive), Danielle now helps other founders tell better stories in pitches, program applications, and beyond. She works closely with Skandalaris Center founders, as well as fellow grantees as an expert-in-residence for Arch Grants.
